Looks like Vista, Smells like Vista, Sounds like…why not stick with XP Pro 64 Bit vers.
I agree with you to a certain extent, but it doesn’t act like vista. I agree…stick to XP if you can!

it is much more faster than xp
and a lot of advantages than vista.

I WAS EXICETD TO GET THIS but it look that same u guys are lazy go work do somethin beter than vista its slow one two i cant run goood games without buchn stuff and third take a long time to restart many u should stard workin millenium somethin if its work i be glad to download then see how it looks stopd begin lazys

I’m really tired of those vitriolic comments all over the web saying that Win7 is just another Vista.
After 8 very long years, I’m sick and tired of XP. It’s time to move on.
I think Windows 7 looks great! Its refreshing to look at and use. I’m ready to kiss XP good-bye forever, and I no longer care what others say.
I hate to burst your bubble, but Windows XP, Windows Vista, even Windows 7-they all are based on something almost a decade old-Windows 2000.
Windows 8 better have some ground-breaking technology in it… was hoping 7 had at least one new thing that we would all be using but not really other than the GUI window tweaks =\

Windows 7 is not another vista. I haven’t tried it but the taskbar is much better. i haven’t tried neither but i heard all about it. like the taskbar other things in windows 7 are good as well
Well it definitely doesn’t look like Vista, but I think I like Vista better. Nice work though.
I’m not too sure…Vista is good…on a desktop…but not on a laptop.

There is a newer version of Windows 7: Build 7077 it works fine to me.. Better than Vista Basic..
we all are Gate’s white lab mouse. Win 7 is nothing but a version of old win 2000. You think it is “more stable”?, “better productivity”?.. better..hm.. If you really believe win 7 is a good OS, then if you experience new Linux you will start believing Linux is amazing. And it is. Every 1.5 years Microsoft is emptying our wallets with a “new” system, which occasionally starts with the magic 10 reasons and ended in oh my Gosh – voulnerability, patching, viruses and the game continues non stop.
My advise – get rid of windows and have a stable, great OS as Linux or even Mac.
I would rather deal with vulnerabilities then have Linux. You cannot to a damn thing with Linux (aside from geeky things). At least with a Mac you have some great apps, but still limited at best. Get off your Linux wagon already. Windows 7 is a great OS, even if it is just a better version of Vista.

windows 7 rocks!! Maybe it looks a bit like Vista but what the hack?! Vista looks great! So please stop complaining otherwise buy a mac or use linux(like windows 3.11) and never come back on windows site(s).
Im using windows 7 now for a few days and im still lovin’ it!! Its stable, fast, and great looks! Im sure im going to buy some licenses!

I’m gonna buy Windows 7. XP is one of the best OS I’ve ever used! Vista is a RAM eating monster, good for high performanced PC’s.

do i see yet another windows vs linux war? grrr dont you just love it? linux is crap at a desktop, it lacks good drivers for wireless and video (nvidia is the best it gets for linux) but for a server its ace.
however, windows is always releasing a new GUI and changing its name, is that all they do? no but yes it would look like it on the front, as for the price its shocking due to things like linux is available as an alternative.
overrall,
windows = desktop
linux = server
thats the way its chance to stay for a while yet, yes both can be used for desktops or servers but what they were made for is another story.
all i can say is give over with the win vs lin war and use what you like
I hate windows 7, I cant get any older programs to run, I bought 3 different pieces of software and none are compatable with windows 7. I even tried changing the compatablility option and run the programs “in an older version of windows” No luck. I’ve downloaded patches, still nothing. My new computer is nothing but an internet searcher cause I can’t use any software that I buy. This really sucks. Now how long do I have to wait until they make programs that run on windows 7?
Well i have Win7 and im really happy. Its working every time and do not slow down like vista did… Its amazing Cant wait to see what they come up with the new win8:)
