This is just a friendly reminder that Windows 7E discounted preorders begin today in the UK, France, and Germany. Microsoft has continually emphasized that the offer is on “while supplies last.” France will only have a total of 76000 preorder units available.

Microsoft has always told customers that its preorder offer would come in limited quantities. But when asked for more details, the Redmond company simply refused to disclose any numbers. This restriction is most likely due to strategy more than a production limitation since Windows 7 has yet to be finalized...
