I too bought a dell laptop at Walmart with the free windows 7 offer. It took awhile but I finally found the website that provides the process we are looking for.

Fill out the form including your purchase date, location, model & service tag number on the bottom of the laptop. They say you will get an email with further instructions.

That’s strange, I already have an ultimate version running which is a FULL version that I got from the official Microsoft Windows 7 Party. Have fun pre-ordering ~~!^^

Having read about MS changing the plans for Windows 7 in the EU and dropping the Windows 7 E edition. Will everyone that has pre ordered the Windows 7 E editions get the full versions of Windows 7 not the upgrade since that is useless to me and many others I would suspect.

Be aware that you won’t get IE8 or anIE for that matter in the european version. Myself, I’ll try to source an international version that contains it, rather than install it later.
