Windows 7 Ultimate cracked and activated with OEM master key
Just seven days after Windows 7 RTMed and the cracking community has already found a way to crack and activate Windows 7 Ultimate with an OEM master key. The activation is achieved through an OEM style offline activation method that can pass Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) validation.
According to MyDigitalLife, a Lenovo OEM disk was leaked onto PCBeta, where hackers took the boot.wim file in order to find the OEM-SLP product key and OEM certificate for Windows 7 Ultimate. The System-Locked Preinstallation (SLP) procedure is used to preactivate Windows for mass distribution by an OEM. Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 uses Version 2.1 to allow backwards compatibility for version 2.0 that is used for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 activation. Upon extracting the OEM certificate and product key, it was discovered that Windows 7 uses the same digitally signed .xrm-ms OEM certificate as Windows Vista.
The extracted OEM-SLP product key will be able to activate Windows 7 Ultimate, and since it is a master OEM-SLP key, the same key could be used to activate from any OEM. As if it wasn’t already easy enough to work around Microsoft’s activation system, a few simple commands in command prompt can turn the original RTM installation into an OEM version and then be activated. The current crack only works with Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit and 64-bit. As for the other editions, keys have yet to be leaked for them but hackers are already busy at work creating loaders and other cracking utilities.
As with all software out there right know, it was expected that sooner or later we would see Windows 7 cracked and activated. The speed at which a workaround was found will sure to be a big hit to Microsoft. The Redmond company has been facing troubles with leaks throughout Windows 7 development with regular build leaks. Windows 7 is RTMed on July 22, 2009 and is scheduled for General Availability on October 22, 2009.

But if u deactivate updates it could work forever, cause it’s an offline activation.
Do a Google search for every MS Update before you install it and you should be ok.

Quite honestly, to pay $300.00 for an operating system (Windows Vista or Windows 7 Ultimate) is outrageous! Is it any wonder that people are sharing bootleg copies and activators.

Well, I’ts not only Microsoft’s problem, just think of Apple or Adobe. I’ts like a competition with a huge amount of honour waiting for it’s winner, no wonder that it takes just a few days. Dozens of professional developers against thousands of semi-professional crackers.
Well, I believe most of the best crackers are also professional developers. Of course there is a lot of amateur or semi-professional crackers, but the ones that can crack an OS so fast must work on this area!

Makes me feel old. I was going to ditto Fernando’s comment too since the original leak came from Lenovo, so must have been someone in the industry.
Luckily for MS, I think Enterprise and pre-installed sales make up the majority of operating system sales anyway so pirating is of considerable concern, but not enough that they will go bankrupt or anything over it.
No…i think it is an inside job because how can even professional hackers crack so fast…Microsoft is doing so to acheive a greater market share…But i would say Windows 7 is worth 300$ after the updates they have brought to this…So my request is that everyone even if you use the crack please please buy the product after testing with the crack….

They changed Windows 7 activation by making it less obtrusive. Even with a non genuine key, I believe you’ll no longer have to wait 30 seconds like in Vista when booting up and the wallpaper will change every 2 hours, but you can change it back.
I think the main thing was the percentage of customers who thought they had got a real key but instead received a counterfeit. In that case it’s not entirely their fault.

Micro$cum knew it would be this way and actually promoted it, that is why they did not alter the activation method one iota from Vi$ta, which had already been by-passed.

I have tried this activiation work-around and even entered each line from the install.cmd file one at a time. It does not work for me. All pieces of the function were put into the root. Run both in regular and in safe mode. Run as adminstrator. Get “access is denied” when the bootinst.exe file is run.
Dnr, you need to flash your motherboard with a modded BIOS that has SLIC 2.1 tables. Then get matching certificate, and the leaked OEM number — it is a piece of piss to do.
activated 7600 16385 32 bit program on home made computer and did not flash bios. just ran hazar’s program–all activated.

First of all if you use the cracked version, it is illegal in countries that have copyrighted laws including the United States. Plus if you like to use Windows, you should purchase it to support the developers and programmers of the Windows project.
