After two weeks of leak drought, we finally have Windows 7 RC download leaked on April 24 at 12:57AM EST. The torrent can be found on all popular major torrent sites. The leak came just two days after Microsoft issued the RC to TAP Gold partners and OEMs as reported by Neowin yesterday. We’ve received confirmation from one of our forum members, wguimb, that this image is indeed real and being seeded by him. File image details below:

A source informed me that only bugs were fixed since build RC escrow (7077) which is expected.
Is this build fake?
Some users opened up cversion.inf to find that it differed from the one that Microsoft showed on their blog. I have confirmed with a source that the MinClient value is set at 7077 by default.
Remember that you cannot perform an upgrade install with this build without modifying a file. It is recommended that you do a clean install. Microsoft urges users to do the same or upgrade from Vista. If you feel that you really need to do a build-to-build upgrade installation, go here and scroll down to How-To.
Microsoft accidentally put up a page saying that the RC will be released on May 5th earlier this week. However, wzor.net suspects that it will be publicly released after Microsoft’s TechEd event on May 15th. Windows 7 Center will keep you posted on when the official RC comes from Microsoft.

not yet available, will be updated if significant. Windows 7′s features development was finished and frozen long ago, most changes are probably towards optimization and bug fixing but we’ll let you know if there are any surprises

You can still upgrade from 7077 build or modify cversion file to upgrade from any build, but its not recommended

what’s the different between 7077 and build 7100 ?
Some bugs fixed and better compatibility, nothing much. But to me, it seems faster than 7077. 7077 was a bad build for me.

So no need to do a clean install if u don’t wan’t the extra work

Hello gays! I had win 7 build 6.1.7000 beta, and I activated it with Windows_7_All_versions_PlusPatch_V6_By_ZabuzaMox
and everithing work just fine, but when I downloaded win 7 build 6.1.7100 RC from that Russian website I couldn’t crack it :-S
I live for win 7, so help me to “survive”, can anyone tell me how to crack this version of windows…. TNX IN ADVANCE!

No need to crack Windows 7, they give serial numbers which you can still get.
Get a beta key here:

and use that to activate your coy of Windows 7. They are letting everyone use it for a year legitimately.

Im not sure, I too wanted to try that option. But, i dont think that XP mode option would’ve be provided in RC. Let me try and update you, as i’ve already upgraded from Vista SP1 to W7-7100 version

The keys work forever, it’s the operating system that expires. Just do a search on the site for activation keys and you’ll find some
