Microsoft China surely has nothing to hide. They’ve openly posted these images revealing the new Windows 7 logo, ending any speculation.

Other than putting a slightly different logo of Windows 7 all over their RC launch event, they also posted it onto their website.
For some eye-candy, here are some images from PCBETA at the Windows 7 RC event in China.

Hmm.. I guess the logos pretty cool but that DVD of it looks bad imo.
It’s an operating system, not a video game. What difference does the disk appearance make so long as the OS is installed?
It’s a product that’s why. Just like video games, movies, music, cars, and McChicken sandwiches. Anytime any kind of “product” is to be sold for a profit there is some kind of ad campaign to push it on the masses. If it was just about the OS then you’d be running Linux!
The DVD and case says Windows7 RC, so is not the final product
The one on the DVD looks different from the one on the Microsoft Chinese webpage. I actually prefer the design on the DVD packaging, much software and natural looking. I am wondering if it will be anywhere on the final packaging.
