Personally I am hoping Microsoft learns from its past lessons, however with rumors going around about high pricing for Windows 7, it shows that they still don't get it. Personally, I am done dealing with high costs and continuous issues like this. I've moved to Fedora Linux, and I couldn't be happier. No more pricing games, politics, high hardware costs, and other problems of Microsoft.

[...] According to the results of the KACE survey, more than 80% of IT Pros plan to upgrade to Windows 7 by 36 months, which is phenomenal compared to the 30-40% adoption rate of XP. A similar study was also conducted by an investment bank that focuses on technology, called Pacific Crest Securities. 80 IT decision makers working at enterprises of over 1000 employees were surveyed.
I didn't believe it either I had to re-read the last portion of the survey must time. The only other possibility would be that they got some random computer people who haven't heard of win 7 but that wouldn't make sense...

How can you be in IT and not know about Windows 7?!

In all honesty: not as well as it should do. Microsoft should force this down people's throats- it's a lean, mean OS that demolishes XP in pretty much every respect.
