Windows 7 Build 7127 Download Leaked

Although not many of us have just started exploring Windows 7 Release Candidate, another build has already leaked. The leaked build is 7127 and the complete build string is: 7127.0.090507.1820,
Build 7127 is part of the RTM branch. As Microsoft stated, they are in the process of RTM. For a detailed explanation on deciphering build strings, Icrontic has some good information in this article.

When downloading leaked builds, always check the hashes to ensure that you have an image that has not been tampered with. Recently, attackers pushed out fake copies of Windows 7 RC on Bittorrent to build their botnet. You can check the MD5 hash of an image by using MD5Checker (download here). The hashes are as follows:

Windows 7 Build 7127 x86 (32-bit):
7127.0.090507-1820_x86fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULFRER_EN_DVD.iso
MD5 4045CB2A8E50B65ED9E1C2B8D6026B2F
SHA1 F2D615E674B64053D299CFA5E80B777269F0DFF2
CRC-32 F691687F

Windows 7 Build 7127 x64 (64-bit):
7127.0.090507-1820_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULXFRER_EN_DVD.iso
MD5 F805A6595DDC6D12956588BB0F1B9B83
SHA1 9BEB69BE3C2D113ECEB944145951A2123FBBBBF8
CRC-32 460FAD4E

As for changes, nothing other than bug fixes and improved compatibility should be expected for builds after the RC.

    Any torrent links?

  2. Crid says:

Does someone knows if this release REALLY have something new (bug fixes and improved compatibility )????

Does really matters to install this new release and take of the 7100??

  3. DmnY says:

I’ve tried this by doing an upgrade and it screwed my SPTD (Daemon Tools) and other things. Maybe it worths for a clean install, but I didn’t see any improvements or changes.

    • Geo says:

Daemon Tools forums have stated that they will not support any Windows 7 pre-release versions. May I suggest alternatives like Virtual Clone Drive or you yourself may know of other alternatives. But Daemon Tools is out of question.

      • Helton says:

Although they claim that it’s not supported, I’m using version 4.30.4 normally, no issues at all!

        It’s worth a try.

      • Kloon says:

They said that they couldnt do anythin til SPTD released Win 7 compatible SCSI drivers, and since they did, DT now supports Win 7 as stated in the changelog.

  4. Harman says:

Well…I’m not gonna install it. It seem like no major change

  5. Harman says:

    Any changes?

    • Shiggity says:

That’s what I wanna know… Does it being distributed to TAP Gold Partners mean that it will soon gain Golden Master status?

  6. Claus says:

Pitty that I can’t upgrade my existing RC, because it doesn’t support any other language than english at the moment :( Have to wait until the localized leak.

  7. rkmar00n says:

I am noticing a wee bit more cpu usage. did an upgrade install from 7100. but no other notable changes.

  8. ssr PL says:

I think that system partition’s icon is different. (U can see it on the pic here)

  9. John says:

I think we’re more at the polishing stage, since we’re on the RTM level now.
Downloading builds past the RC will be useless unless you collect W7 builds or something.

    • Al says:

Hibernation still doesn’t work properly for me

      • Geo says:

Really? That’s new…it worked fine on my Dell Inspiron 1501. Might be a hardware issue and the next thing I might conjecture is that it’s a graphics hardware or driver issue because I noticed that hibernation was disabled on the RC until I installed the proper graphics adapter driver (found instantly by Windows Update).

I tried some Torrent for the x86 but every time the MD5 is different …

  14. Ben says:

Can anyone tell me if there are any differences between this and build 7100? I just upgraded from 7000 to 7100, and the only difference i can see is the logon screen changed.

    • Helton says:

Well, the logon screen is one of several changes that came along with this version. They’ve implemented Aero Peek for Windows Flip (Alt+Tab), the mouse-over effect when rolling on the taskbar buttons keeps active when the user’s checking the thumbnails, taskbar’s items size decreased a little bit, allowing more buttons to be pinned…

Don’t really know how many changes were done to RC, but you can look for it in this very site and you’ll find it!

  15. xseven says:

There are not too much visual changes or user interface changes in 7127 (if you had 7100), but many bug fixes.
With other words: 7127 is going to be RTM, the 7100 wasn’t good enough to be RTM.

  16. xseven says:

    Does anybody know why??

Build 7000 started up in few seconds, i think faster than XP, 7100 is hanging at boot when windows logo appears and than about 8 secs later starts to booting up (hdd activity). I had same bios & hardware configuration and drivers by 7000 and 7100 as well. More people told me the same.
