Windows 7 Build 7077 x86 RC Escrow Leaked
There have been many fake torrents floating around lately, however we may finally have a legitimate leak. The torrent was originated from torrents.ru and can be found on all major popular torrent sites, however it seems to be stuck at 87.9% for the time being. Please read below for the full story.
The build is most likely to be real and we have confirmed this. The build string is 7077.0.090404-1255. It is supposed to be the RC escrow build. Here are a few screenshots submitted by our forum members:
Explanation of what happened with the leak and torrent:
There’s quite a story behind what’s happening, but thanks to S.K.U.R.K.’s translation work and the contribution of our forum members, we have the story to tell. The torrent was originally leaked by a German female on torrents.ru, which explains why the screenshots are not in Russian. She asked to not have the torrent leaked anywhere else or shared, but people ignored her request and leaked the torrent elsewhere. She then decided to stop seeding it for that particular reason, but also because there seemed to be some checksum errors (she was not too clear on this issue.)
A member who had finished the download from torrents.ru then decided to upload the torrent onto TPB. The torrent quickly spread onto other torrent sites but all of them lead back to ThePirateBay tracker. Once he had seeded 89.7%, the seeder ditched the torrent. Comments on the forum over at torrents.ru say that the full torrent will be available for download tomorrow. At time of posting, it is 5:33AM Moscow time, so the wait may be longer than expected. The torrent is available now.
Explanation of the build numbers:
There’s been a lot of confusion with the build numbers, so to clarify, Windows 7 Build 7077 is the same as Build 7105 and you will see that both these builds were compiled on the same day. Build 7077 comes from the RC escrow branch and will be renamed Build 7100 if no showstopper bugs are found. Windows 7 Build 7105 is the first build of the RTM branch. In other words, Build 7105 is branched off from Build 7077. Here’s a quote from ArsTechnica for further information about the build numbers:
The build string for the latest build we know about is “7077.0.090404-1255,” which indicates that it was compiled less than a week ago: April 4, 2009, at 12:55pm. Some of you will realize that this is 20 minutes after the supposed build 7105 was compiled, which is widely rumored to be a milestone build. Microsoft only increments the second digit of the build number if an important point in development has been reached

100% (But it’s a beta/RC/don’t expect a final product from this:)

The size is smaller due to the kernel optimization, if that’s your concern.

Whats up with all these shitty 32 bit releases. We want 64 bit! 64 bit is the future!
There’s really no benefit going 64 bit, unless you have 4GB of RAM or more. I do, so I run 64 bit anything, but most people do not. I also believe that 64 bit is the future, but not all agree or aren’t ready. I’m sure when the time is right x64 will be the only release on such applications as the OS.

With it, you can get up to 4gb of extra RAM on top of your current RAM and it improves your pc speed greatly! Windows 7 has the upgraded version of ReadyBoost which VISTA of course didn’t work well with. Google it for more info.
Does anyone know if clicking on the pinned Recycle Bin/Computer will pop up its “properties”?(eg Empty Recycle Bin or Manage)

I’ve downloaded the x64 7068 W7 build from a Mediafire shared folder. But the .rar doesn’t have a .iso file, instead of it there are the whole single files from inside the .iso. Seems like someone did a CTRl+C CTRL+V of the single files list and did the .rar.
So, will it boot just by recording it as a usual data disc or do I need to record it by another way? Thanks.

hello guys i just wanted to know how one can identify the fake copy their 7077 windows 32bit mine says expiered if i use the curent day so i ajusted the date on bios then booted and i activated it works ,so is it fake?
