WinHEC China 2008 is currently taking place and officially ends on December the 4th. They’ve already begun demonstration of Windows 7 but seemed to be using build 6956, a build newer than 6801 that was used at WinHEC USA.
There were some noticeable changes in build 6956 spotted by PCBeta:
- New boot screen with animated objects or balls that form the Windows logo
- Taskbar is fully functional in this build
- Zoom function available now on desktop as well as multimedia files
- Jumplists can be accessed by right-clicking on a symbol in the taskbar
- Start button becomes more colorful than before when you hover over it
Here are some screenshots gathered from a few Chinese tech sites and Neowin:
Did Microsoft reveal information on Windows 7 that was not released in the US? If you know, please let us know in the comments.
