Hi. I’ve tried Windows 7 RC1 on a PIII@1.4Ghz and 512 Mb of RAM desktop and it works good.

Hey i have an Inspiron 1300 with a Celeron and 2Gb ram. I’ve upgraded the ram but obviously couldn’t with the cpu. Will the extra RAM really increase the score from the benchmark you have set?

Yes, I already install windows 7 on my laptop with running on Intel Celeron 1.7Ghz and 512MB of RAM and it’s feel so friendly. I love windows 7 so much.

Do you think this would run ok on a mobile celeron CPU (1.2 Ghz)? I’ve got Windows XP on it at the moment, but if Windows 7 would be faster on it I’ll give it a try.
