The first PDC build was much older and probably had a little more testing before heading for the masses. I suspect the Beta1 in Jan 09 will be much the same slightly older than current build at the time but alot better quality wise. I cannot wait as it fixes one issue with some hardware I have under Vista which wont work to working fine under 7. That may make sence. Not seen any issues with it yet and been using it as my main OS since then. All installed and running with everything I had under Vista. So for me I am happy that they (MS) are moving in the right direction. S.
