If you can’t attend PDC or WinHEC, there’s no need to worry. And if you are attending and remember being told that the Beta was to be given out to you; no need to be disappointed as well. You can still get your hands on the actual Beta that will be coming very soon. According to ZDNet, the beta is set to come out in mid-December.
There’s been a lot of confusion as to how Microsoft plans to deliver its beta content for Windows 7.
To clear all confusion, Microsoft previously confirmed that it will be using its Connect site as a source for finding Beta testers. I haven’t spotted Windows 7 anywhere on the website yet, but I’ll keep you guys posted.
