not necessarily. WGA is a lot more lenient or I guess (nicer to customers) in Windows 7, but not sure if the changes that were outlined recently apply to build 7000

It means you will have to reinatall a retail version of windows such as XP or Vista. If WIndows & is out by then, then you will have to reinstall or upgrade to the full release version.
Another awesome note is that I tested the upgrade tool for Windows 7 from Windows Vista Ultimate. I did not have to reinstall my applications, they are all still installed!!!

Whatever the release date is, they have to make sure they get Windows 7 out before Snow Leopard so the hype is focused on them and not Apple this time

Yeah, you can’t assume based on wording, especially with Microsoft.
I remember everyone freaked out when Bill Gates accidentally called the Whistler project

“Windows 2003″, thinking that meant Windows Whistler wouldn’t be released until 2003. We all know Windows XP actually was released in 2001!
