Students can get Windows Server 2008 for free!

Microsoft’s got a great program going on at Channel 8 called DreamSpark. DreamSpark gives away free software to college students so they can “chase their dreams” and innovate. Among Windows Server 2008 are other great programs such as Visual Studio 2008, Expression Studio 2, XNA Game Studio, and Visual C++ 2008. Many countries and institutions are included in the list, but not all. You’ll have to go through a verification process so Microsoft can make sure that they support your college, and that you are an actual student attending that college.
