If Microsoft do release Windows 7 on 22nd October 2009 as predicted, that will give users who do stick with the RC just over another 5 months to make up their minds before it starts shutting down, as mentioned above.

Personally I reckon that most will have decided that they want to go with the 'final' version by then... I know I will! ;-)

They Say Your Win7 Will Shutdown Every Two Hours

SRC http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/download.aspx

Qoute: Watch the calendar. The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you'll need to install a non-expired version of Windows before March 1, 2010. You'll also need to install the programs and data that you want to use.

I just hope we get a leak of the official RTM.. Does anybody thing M$ is going to turn off the RC\Beta keys etc??..

Does anybody know if M$ is going to allow people who are running the RC\Beta to continue until 3\1\2010? Or are they just going to turn everything off and force people to purchase\upgrade?
