Quick Post on Changes in Windows 7 Center

Over the past month, Windows 7 Center has been busy to make this site a better place for the readers. Here are some updates I’ll share with you. If you have any comments or feedback to share, please let us know in the comments. You are free to bash at the site, compliment us, tell us what you want to see, or tell us what you don’t want to see. We want to hear about what you think of the site.

Staff:

You might have noticed that I am not the only one writing here nowadays. Alongside with me are two new writers, Kryticate and Laser who will be occasionally writing news updates and tips. Welcome to the team guys!

Forums:

The biggest change on our site is our forums. The forums were in alpha since November 2008. Now they are in beta and we hope to officially announce its launch alongside with a contest soon. We’ve switched from phpBB to vBulletin and are now working out the bells and whistles of the forums. Also, djlegion has been promoted to be the super moderator of the forum. Welcome to the forum team!

Feel free to join in on the Windows 7 discussion. Here are some of the more popular topics in our forum:

I usually announce new posts and updates about possible leaks. Usually I share anything that is interesting from random Windows 7 stories to a funny comic I found online. I also answer questions from other twitter users about Windows 7. If you haven’t already, make sure to follow us!

Advertisements:

You’ve probably seen me shift around advertisements over the past few weeks. These ads are to pay for the hosting fees and the vBulletin license. I’ve tried my best to not make them obtrusive or annoying in any way.

I changed the poll results because many of you seemed very interested in the topic and I believe the choices I left for you were unfair. I’ve added an additional option for users who won’t pirate it because they’re not going to buy it anyway.
