Thanks to everybody sending in the Windows 7 Build 6956 screenshots. This time I have some spectacular widescreen screenshots for everyone. Those are some nice screenshots. Just to clarify, is this build of Windows 7 illegal?
For some reason people seem to be a lot more relaxed and open with the ISO, but I think it would be illegal since it was not released by Microsoft and was taken without their permission from the conference
guess so, it has been pirated and published on torrent sites, which is illegal in my country ( but who cares.. )
I think MS cares…

What i’m looking for is a nice clean capture, with not desktop icons (At least not weird ones
), some Time and clock gadgets, and an IE and Explorer windows open, just like the picture than I pass you.

someone tell me they didnt change the stacking from how it was when u unlocked the feature in M1 … the one from pdc was spectacular i loved the stacking to icons and then hovering hell even the shortcut arrow for the menu of quick items for each icon was perfect i LOVE that way … i really hope they didnt change it or they left the option to use it that way too.
what stacking? was it in 6801?
ive downloaded and installed the 6956 build, but my taskbar and windows aren’t transparent. can anyone explain why and help me with this problem?
also, my windows live messenger keeps crashing my computer when i try to open it.

+ 1.00 GB RAM
how long did your install take? Mine hangs on “Starting Windows” after 1st reboot. 2 hours +.
I do not have the first release 6019 installed…should I?
oh yea, and also i dont get the glass windows using the desktop peek feature..

Try this: Open Start, right click Computer, and choose Properties. Look under System, and click on your rating. Then click on Rate this Computer.
i tried this. it crashed my computer, again.
should not be crashing the computer but I have to say your CPU seems a bit slow
what the hell does the transparent boxes in the desktop for?
their the outline of the windows he has open but he has them hidden to peek at his tdesktop… you can peek at anything, desktop/a background app whatever

Yeah, nothing much seems to be changed just by looking at those screenshots. Just a Vista with a new taskbar…
The performance is improved by a lot, and there are a couple new features such as Aero Peek. The taskbar changes are huge since it affects the way you manage your windows.
