Build numbers have been flying around like crazy as usual but Windows 7 Build 7105 has had many fans scratching their heads over. According to Neowin, Build 7105 is an RC build. The build string is 6.1.7105.0.090404-1235_x86fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GB1CULFRER_EN_DVD and the build was compiled on April 4th. According to some screenshots Faikee found, this may very well be the case. The following screenshot was found by Faikee from our forums:

Dj-forum.ru is reporting that the download link will be made available on their site this week. They also have a small list of changes found in Build 7105. The original source is in Russian but we have the translated changelog below:
Changelog:
1. Improved networking support, the work in the local network
2. Added support for some previously incompatible programs
3. Extras in the LP (???) and small cosmetic interface improvements
4. Added support for new drivers for various devices
5. Extended support sensory displays
6. A small optimization and changes in the kernel
A couple of you may be confused by the huge jump in the build numbers. Here is a direct quote from SoLor:
Anyway ill try to explain what wzor was saying (so people dont need to decode that weird google translation). Build 7073 was first build branched twice, once as 7073.winmain and once as 7073.win7rc. Build 7077 was also branched twice, once as 7077.win7rc and once as 7105.winmain. And its expected that sometimes in next 2 days, MS will decide what build will become RC-escrow build.
Our website will be updated with news on upcoming leaks, screenshots, and build details. You can subscribe to our RSS (What is RSS?) feed or Email Subscription newsletter to keep up with the updates.

Bawww.. no cred?

Also.. anyone notice the NINTENDO_… folder?
ha!
P.S. 7105 is escrow.
NICE! I can’t wait to DL the x64 leak of this build.. I’m especially looking forward to the new networking improvements. For my Broadcom 4328 WiFi NIC the connection drops after some time (exact time I need to test) and only a restart (or ethernet cord) fixes the problem. It’s not the card itself, since on OS X and Vista/XP that problem is nonexistant.
Great news Al. Keep it up!
Did you try compatibility mode for a vista driver? =]
Hmm no.. how would I do that? Is it a simple right-click option?
Not exactly sure what the problem is, have you posted in the forums? We can try to help you there (more people)
Al, I think it’s a driver issue, as any other OS (Windows XP/Vista/OS X/Any Linux I’ve ran) hasn’t had that problem. I will start a thread now, and I’ll also try that compatibility mode thing S.K.U.R.K mentioned.
In additional news: escrow will be officially decided on April 8th. One branch will be out, obviously.
After that the releases will be pure RC’s.
And we get a public RC in a month. (first week-ish).
also, like I’ve said; 7105 is (90% sure.. but this source is a bit unsure) going to be escrow (due to the number of changes compared to the other builds).
It it also written that build 7077 of the winmain is not compiled yet… (that’s according to WzorNet.. but wasn’t translated. If that matters.)
So, Relax. Check back here for updates about leaks. And get ready to register for the RC around the first few days of May.

Build 7077 x86 leaked to torrents…
Hi, Im now using 7057 and having a problem trying to make a LAN with a WinXP machine, using a lan-cable.
Do u know if this issue is fix at 7105?
I can find my w7 machine for XP but not vice versa. Try make a folder on w7 with write rights and send from your XP machine.
Hope it helps.
