Microsoft brings back Internet Games to Windows 7


Microsoft quietly added 3 new games into the Windows Games into Windows 7. You might also remember seeing these from Windows XP:

Internet Checkers

Internet Checkers

Internet Spades

Internet Spades

The games have been redesigned and improved over their predecessors. Microsoft lists the following new changes:

  • Play online against human opponents (up to 4 players at the same time with Internet Spades).
  • Select from 3 skill levels to be matched with similarly skilled players from all around the world.
  • If your opponent drops out, a computer opponent takes over to finish the game.
  • Choose from cool different backgrounds and piece/card designs

Statistics can be tracked for the games as well.

Just click on Games in the Start Menu and you should be able to play the games right away.

    I wonder when Microsft are gonna bring out some more interesting games for windows?
    Not that I’m espousing gambling but how about MS jumping on the huge online “Poker” bandwagon? Or what about an “Online Pool Hall” or (blast from the win95 past) PINBALL !!!
