    How long do you think until the first Windows 8 leak?

    How long do you guys think we will have to wait until the first Windows 7 leak? I wasn't around during XP development and was only around just when Vista RTMed so I have no idea.

    Also missed out on Milestone 1 and anything that might have been earlier for Windows 7. I am guessing Jan/Feb 2010. What do guys think?

    Since windows 8 will be released in 2012/2013. The first leak won't be before 2011.

    It took more than a year after Vista's GA launch before Windows 7 M1 (minor changes) got leaked. So I guess it will take some time before we see Windows 8. I'm looking forward to it and I hope we get a lot of leaks.

    Q1 of 2010 is WAYYY to soon I think

    I would say maybe an alpha build around Q4 2010 but more than likely Q1 of 2011
