You are correct, I cant get it to work under Vista either. I have to use xp with a laptop. I have the same problem with my Anthem avm-50.
Kinda sucks![]()
How about checking the manufacturer's website for sth like suppport for Vista? ActiveSync is too old to work on Vista and 7. Maybe google the device name and look for possible solutions?
My friend's having serious problem with his Intel GMA 915 Graphics on Windows 7. Warcraft was having like 3 seconds delay after each action he did. It is possible to play under XP but with similar drivers installed on 7, he's having big problems. The only way is to go back to XP whenever he wants to play Warcraft.
I've turned him into a 7 user from a XP-addictive though.![]()

I have been for a while. The only hope is this new xp mode will work. I just cant get it to find usb device in xp mode.
Stupid Adobe Reader isn't working for me with RC x64 - it installs but when I try to run it I get a runtime error and it crashes. The only fix is to run it in xp compatibility mode. As it seems to work for some other people, it is probably interacting with some other app I have installed.
you're better with foxit, it's very lightweight
here's some of my list
Avira Antivir
Avast (just recently installed it)
Filezilla (FTP)
Digsby (Best multi-IM client I've used)
Foxit (PDF reader, lightweight)
mirc (irc chat client)
hotspot shield (to watch hulu, too bad it doesn't work with x64 yet)
easyBCD
Burnaware
Imgburn
Intel C2D e6750 @ 2.66 Ghz Stoc ; MB : Gigabyte P35 DS3R rev 2.0; 2GB Crucial Ballistix Tracers at 800 MhZ DDR2 ; eVGA 8800 GTS 320MB ; Samsung HDJ 640 Gb .
Filezilla is usable. It just gives you a stupid error saying that a file corrupt but other than that it is still usable.
Mediafour's MacDrive 7 didn't work on any Windows 7 edition (32 bit/64bit, beta, RC).
However, they're now releasing the MacDrive 8 beta which does work on Windows 7. About time :)
