You did it!, wow it worked like a charm mate, this should be sticky ed. Definitely 3.7 it's way better than a mere 1.0 ¬¬. Thnx alot GophaKyorselv. I'm in your debt and all others to whom this post can prove helpfull ^_^. Cheers
Wow, wish I would have found these forums 2 days ago. Tried installing 7100 on my Dell e1705 with X1400 and I just couldn't find any drivers. Even tried a bunch of different things with DH Mobility Modder to no avail.
Will wipe my Vista Ultimate x64 install AGAIN tonight and give 7100 a try with these drivers!

Oh, and one more thing... It's still possible to download and install the Catalyst Control Center, right? If so, is there a specific version I need to get?
Hello Mate,
Tried to follow the said process but when i Unrar the above files (both) i am getting error message
UNEXPECTED END OF ARCHIVE
and it wont archive. Could you please chk the files again.
Many Thanks
I just checked the files. They are fine.
Redownload them. You can verify their hashes against the ones i've posted.
Thank you so much! Worked like a charm on my dell e1505!
See the thread started by Billstelling a few days ago about the default ATI 9.3.1 driver.
http://windows7center.com/forums/tec...-6-2009-a.html
does anyone have any idea how to connect a tv with a ati mob. x1400 with windows 7?
with xp I never had any problems. now, windows 7 isn't able to identify the tv and it's just flickering.
Have you tried pressing win+p? it worked for me just like that.
Dear Gopha,
U've indeed save my day.
I'm using a Toshiba Satelite A100 and have not been able to get the ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 to work after installing Windows 7 Beta and RC 32-bit.
I've tried ATI Catalyst driver for Vista32 9.2, 9.3, 9.6 and 9.7 and all didn't work.
Using your drivers' files and following the steps you outlined work!
Thanks again.
Lay Kock :-)
