    Windows 7 RC Discussion

Lets discuss your findings in the new Windows 7 RC.

Now the RC has been leaked, share your thoughts and findings here.

Thanks to wguimb, for the confirmation of the validity of the latest RC leak.

It has been confirmed that the leaked build 7100 is indeed the same as the Published RC Release on MSDN/Technet.

    Have Fun....

Update: If you wish to perform an upgrade and you are currently on a build lower than 7077, then follow this guide by Al:
    http://windows7center.com/news/micro...rc-from-vista/
and scroll down to HOW TO.

It is however recommended you perform a clean install.

busy for last week (no idea if i would actualy find time to install new build, if it would leak, thats how busy i am :(), no time to write on forums when nothing actualy is going on :)

We can expect RC next week, one way or the "other" :P Until then everything is fake, until proved otherwise. There is no build 7200 or anything silliy like that.

    Some more snippets of info:

"Microsoft Taiwan has confirmed that it is "highly possible" a release candidate (RC) build of Windows 7 will be made available before Computex Taipei 2009, which is scheduled for June 2-6.
Unconfirmed market reports indicate that high-level partners of Microsoft such as OEMs have already been given access to Windows 7 RC, and that Microsoft is planning to release this version to the public for testing on May 5.
In related news, multiple industry players, including notebook OEMs, chipset vendors, and graphics card vendors, have informed Digitimes that Microsoft is aiming to delver Windows 7 in time to catch the expected peak in demand during the year-end holiday season."

    Source: http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20090421PD200.html

This "unconfirmed",does this throw a spanner in the works and dash our hopes of getting the RC on the reported dates.?
