    Superfetch Opinions

Ok, my system specs are 4GB of RAM and a 7200 RPM HDD. I was wondering if Superfetch would still be needed or if it'll just simply get in the way?

For those of you that don't know, Superfetch is the feature in Windows that predicts what applications you will load after booting up and preloads them or at least parts of those applications into your RAM. However, sometimes it preloads wrong or preloads too much, so I was wondering, should I disable Superfetch as in leave it on for Boot files but shut it off for applications, especially since my system can handle the extra workload on a cold boot now?

It's also worthy to note that Windows 7 superfetch is on a delayed start meaning it only starts preloading applications after 5 minutes.

I was on a budget...don't laugh at my weak laptop.
