Why don’t we write any articles on Windows 7 benchmarks?
The latest officially released build from Microsoft is the Beta which is Build 7000. We think it’s too early to draw any firm conclusions on the speed of Windows 7. The bottom line is that it’s faster than Vista. And if it’s not faster than Vista in some areas, that is sure to change in later builds. Any timings we post will be obsolete in a few months or so. We want to wait until a firm build (possibly the RC) comes out before posting benchmark information.WW

hey i used utorrent to download the windows7 bet and and im ready to download it or use it but i dont know where to go or what to click on but its completely downloaded and ready
its just like windows vista to install… check whether the downloaded windows 7 is in image format (bootable iso), if not, use Ultra iso and burn it to bootable image format. your os is ready now to be installed just like vista…

Hey, i am getting a new laptop. It is installed with Windows 7. I was wanting to know if it is a decent computer, because I have worked with the very plain and easy Windows 98 all my life (other than the schools Windows xp). I typed in Google- Windows 7 complaints. It brought me to a link that had tons of complaints, like about the Paint that comes with Windows and the Microsoft Word. Is it good. I dont wanna waste $700 for something thats bad. Thanks, Josh
